Cramby helps you learn from your own material, so it handles some of your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal data, and we don’t use your content to train AI models.

What we collect

How we use it

To provide and improve Cramby: generating study material, tracking your progress, keeping your account secure, processing payments and answering support requests.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Cramby: Neon (database, authentication and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Google Gemini, OpenAI and Anthropic (AI models that process your content to generate study material), Tavily (web search when you ask the tutor to look something up) and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. AI providers are used through APIs that do not train on your data.

Connected services

If you connect services like Google Calendar, Drive, Notion or Clerval, Cramby only accesses what you authorise and only to do what you ask. You can disconnect them at any time in Settings.

Your choices

Younger students

Cramby is for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it after you delete your account, except where we must keep limited records (such as invoices) by law.
